Located in northwest Ohio, 40 miles
south of Toledo, Fostoria is home to the “Iron Triangle”,
a unique train intersection where as many as 180 trains pass
through every 24 hours.
The Guide to North American
Railroad Hot Spots cites Fostoria as one of North
America’s cities with great rail action!
Fostoria is also
well-known for its glass heritage: from 1887 to 1920 glass
products were manufactured in 13 different glass plants in
Fostoria. Many of these glass pieces are on display today at
the Fostoria Glass Heritage Gallery.
Add historically
significant buildings to the mix of trains and glass, and you
have a city that offers a variety of attractions as well as
the charm and hospitality of a small town.
